Valentiine are a 3 piece all-girl garage rock band from Melbourne, Australia.
Valentiine are Vanessa (guitar/vocals), Erica (bass/vocals) and Shelly (drums/vocals), 3 girls who reincarnate the heavy 90’s into something beautiful – dirty pop hooks drowned in the honesty of screaming vocals with seething cheerleader harmonies over the top. Their live shows fill the room with a dark beauty and simple melodies that’ll rent a room in your head and refuse to leave.
After 3 years earning their musical stripes, crowding out Melbourne’s most loved dirty little pubs and playing the likes of St. Kilda Fest and the Cherry Rock festival, they left their iconic combi van behind and in September 2012 set off on a European tour covering 22 shows throughout UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, including sets at OxJam Festival in Leicester and Grungapolooza festival in Leipzig, Germany.
Their European jaunt caught our eye and a deal was signed just before Valentiine’s Day in February 2013.

Their debut album ‘Valentiine’ was released in the UK in July 2013 to a raft of positive reviews:

TIME OUT LONDON reckon their debut album is “one of the best grunge records since the death of Kurt Cobain” in their 4* review.
CLASSIC ROCK Magazine put them on their covermount CD featuring “the world’s best new bands”.
POWERPLAY Mag gave them 9/10 (“…glorious scuzz [and] dirty pop hooks…”).
VIVE LE ROCK gave a great review and took a track for their summer covermount CD.
PENNY BLACK MUSIC said “Valentiine have produced an album that may inspire a generation of teenage girls to pick up a guitar“.
Both the first 2 singles, ‘Love Like’ and ‘Chucky’, were played on Radio 1, Q Radio, Total Rock, Team Rock Radio and reached number 1 and number 2 in the Amazing Radio singles chart.
