
Cambridge 4-piece The Traceys formed from the ashes of Donald Elsey’s Big Decision and were the first band signed to Integrity Records in 1994. Their Byrds meet The Buzzcocks sound delivered adrenaline-fuelled guitar pop with buzz-saw Gibsons and chiming Rickenbackers. The band enjoyed the patronage of Malcolm McLaren after using a sample of his voice on their vitriolic attack on the music industry, ‘Just Music’. Debut Integrity single ‘Ghost Island’ (INT 001) was released on both CD and 7″ vinyl.
