Hailing from Aarhus on the east coast of Denmark, MALMØ features the unique voice and song-writing of Maria Malmø.

EP & single releases and immersive live performances in their homeland have seen Maria likened to Björk, Eivør, Oh Land and Agnes Obel – but there’s a unique musical identity and integrity to her work that defies comparison. To Maria Malmø, it’s all about the art and meeting the listener within it:

“I dream of touching people with my music, reaching their – and my own – inner core. I believe that music can do that, and that there’s a need for art that inspires the good in people. I think we all need that in this world on the edge of self-destruction.”

UK singles ‘You’ and ‘We Come From The Stars’ garnered wide critical acclaim, with spot plays on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Ulster, Amazing Radio, Shoreditch Radio and numerous regional stations, with Spotify playlisting from the likes of Crack In The Road, Alex Rainbird, Double J, Listen To Discover, TUNE, TJ Jones and Big Tune IMR.

MALMØ’s debut album ‘We Come From The Stars’ was released world-wide on 22^nd June 2018 on CD and download, via Integrity Records, following the album’s initial availability in the Nordics and UK.
