Change Me A Little is the new single by Danish Music Award nominee Ida Wenøe, released on 13th September 2019 & taken from her critically acclaimed second album The Things We Don’t Know Yet.
Change Me A Little follows earlier singles Another Kind of Love and Circus Season which enjoyed support from BBC 6 Music’s Gideon Coe, Janice Long on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Ulster’s Eve Blair (‘album of the week’), international radio including Seattle’s super-cool KEXP, several playlist adds by the Spotify editorial team including Easy Indie & Alt, & praise from respected UK music sites like FRUK & Get In Her Ears and US tastemakers That Buzzing Sound & Come Here Floyd.
Blending Ida’s Nordic Noir roots with an obvious appreciation of Americana, Change Me A Little gives a nod to the heritage of classic artists such as 10,000 Maniacs whilst displaying current authenticity akin to the likes of Odetta Hartman and Julia Jacklin.
After an April UK headline tour and summer festival appearances in Austria, UK & Denmark, Ida’s busy 2019 schedule includes German and Danish autumn tours and a second appearance of the year in Spain (Madrid, October 6th). A further UK tour in February 2020 is already shaping up nicely.
