Integrity Records was founded in 1994 in a small office in Bedford, England. After early releases from Cambridge 4-piece The Traceys, the label became notable for signing bands such as Miss Black America, Plutonik and Million Dead, whose vocalist Frank Turner went on to forge a successful solo career.
John Peel was a great supporter of the label and played the vast majority of our releases on his BBC Radio 1 show. In 2002, five Integrity releases (including B-sides) proudly appeared in Peely’s annual Festive Fifty.
In recent years, Integrity has also been the UK home for American artists such as Travis + Julie, Futur Primitif, Katastrophy Wife and Meow Meow, alongside Australian garage-rock trio Valentiine.
After a 5 year break, Integrity relaunched in 2011 with albums from Travis + Julie and Pet Dog Storm, followed by releases from Miniature Dinosaurs, the Lights, Futur Primitif, Valentiine, Horse Party & Silhouettes.
Our initial aim remains the same: to nurture and bring you exquisite, gorgeous, original sounds from songwriters, musicians, artists & bands who deserve a wider audience.
The Integrity team has unlimited enthusiasm for our selective roster. view our bands
